The real nightmare is that, according to researchers, gut flora damage caused by antibiotics is likely to be permanent, and you will not lose weight or get rid of cellulite, like you planned They also believe antibiotics lead to obesity. A series of adverse effects result from prolonged antibiotic use, which can ultimately make you fat, including:
– Increased BMI and increase of cellulite on thighs.
– Increased abdominal fat
– Increased ghrelin levels (the hormone that makes you feel hungry)
– Decreased leptin levels (the hormone that lets you know you’re full)
All in all, if you’re trying to shed some fat or want to get rid of cellulite on butt or thighs, you should steer clear from antibiotics. And even if this is not the case for you, still you should avoid them like the plague because their use is certain to make you fat later.
